This volume synthesises and analyses all of the archaeological evidence relating to Phoenician and Punic settlement in Cadiz. Although excavations have taken place around the town since the early twentieth century, systematic excavation did not start until 1979, whilst much of the evidence comes from very recent 21st century excavations, making an overview particularly useful.
