James K. Van Fleet is one of the lucky few who has had the experience of several different successful careers. He has held management positions at Sears-Roebuck, US Gypsum, and Springday Tire and Rubber Corporation. His career in the US Army took him from Private to Lieutenant Colonel over the span of two wars. He was a combat officer in WWII and an intelligence officer who specialized as a Chinese linguist in the Korean engagement. Between the wars he earned a Doctorate cum laude in Chiropractic medicine. His distinguished career as a seminar leader and management consultant along with his published writings have had a profound effect on how corporations throughout the country manage and motivate their people. He has written and published 13 books, including Power with People, now in its 32rd printing.
