惊世骇俗皮日休 (Pirixiu Shocking the World)

Pi Rixiu, a famous poet and essayist of Late Tang Dynasty, is addressed together with Lu Guimeng as ""PiLu"", his work including ""Songling Anthology"". Most of his poems criticize the darkness of social life and show sympathy to the poor. His essays are praised by Lu Xun as the lusters and blades in a mud pool. He has edited his own work ""Wen Sou"". His anthology ""Pizisou"" collects 200 essays and one poetry column which reflect the social reality of late Tang Dynasty, exposing the decay of the ruling class, and its exploitation and oppression on people.
