Gary Paulsen

At age thirteen Gary Paulsen entered a library to keep warm and accidentally discovered a love for reading. He never imagined that someday his own books would fill library shelves around the world. Best known for the classic Hatchet, Paulsen has written two hundred books, many inspired by his own adventures. Besides writing, he has a passion for dogs and dogsledding.
