Twenty papers from the June 2002 conference explore the use of von Neumann algebras as a mathematical model to study the time evolution of quantum dynamical systems. Two series of lectures introduce basic aspects of the theory of semigroups of endomorphisms of type I factors and the construction of spatial endomorphism semigroups of B(h) using CP-flows. Other paper topics include modular invariants and their fusion rules, the classification of operator algebraic conformal field theories, a model for quantum Markov semigroups, and non-commutative Brownian motions.
