Banach Algebras and Their Applications

Banach algebra interacts well with many other branches of functional analysis, including the five specialized topics of this conference of July/August 2003. These topics included K-theory for Banach and locally convex algebras, Banach algebras and operator spaces, Banach algebras in harmonic analysis and operator theory, and topological homology.
