Mathematics, Developmental Biology and Tumour Growth

The school is intended for graduate and advanced undergraduate students of mathematics, but the lecturers came from biology, medicine, and physics and well as mathematics. Six selected lectures cover the rules of an embryo, modeling dorsal-ventral specification in the developing mouse limb, notch-mathics, individual-based models and multi-scale approaches for modeling tumor-induced angiogenesis, tumor radiotherapy and its mathematical modeling, and multi-phase and individual cell-based models of tumor growth.
