Topological Algebras and Their Applications

Papers from a July 2002 conference report on recent work in topological algebras, locally convex and Banach spaces, spectral theory, and operator theory. Some specific topics include Gelfand representation of topological algebras, matrix representations of Ambrose algebras, docile locally convex spaces, relations between numerical range and spectrum, regular inductive limits of locally complete spaces, and spectral mapping for Waelbroeck algebras.
