This is the first monographic study of all Slavic-Russian translations of the biblical book The Song of Songs. The book includes several translations and commentary on them. These publications are part of a larger project of an academic edition Slavic Bible with commentary. This project was started by the Commission on Academic Publication of the Slavic Bible in 1915, and was continued by A. Alekseev and his colleagues. One of the supplements includes an article by O.A. Beloborodova, Reflection of The Song of Songs in Old Russian visual arts and poetry. 11 illustrations.
