Material Hermeneutics in Political Science: A New Methodology

This book demonstrates philosophically that a research program in the philosophy of technology can make meaningful contributions in political and social science.The author critiques the visual gestalt nature of scientific observation and description, not only the object observed but its background and suggests that political scientists need to take into account the material background against which political processes take place and adjust their hermeneutics accordingly.
