Microalgae are microscopic algae, typically found in freshwater and marine systems. This book presents research in the study of microalgae, including microalgal biotechnological applications in nutrition; health and the environment; using microalgae biomass for biodiesel; and, biofuel production and microalgae for aquaculture.
