A new rhetoric: Essays on using the internet to communicate

The essays in this book examine the place of digital communications or "rhetoric" in modern culture. They suggest that, like the printing revolution before it, the internet is shaping tectonic cultural movement, but is currently caught between traditional technocratic ways of thinking, and the more unpredictable terrain of human behaviour.
