Foliations II

This second volume of a two-volume set covers analysis of foliated spaces, characteristic classes of foliations, and foliated 3-manifolds. Early chapters treat C* -algebras of foliated spaces and generalize heat flow and Brownian motion in Riemannian manifolds to such spaces. Later chapters are devoted to characteristic classes and foliations and compact 3-manifolds foliated by surfaces.
