Structural Mechanics

A successful and widely adopted text for first year students of engineering and building. This second edition has been extended to cover the major part of the structural mechanics/analysis syllabuses of most civil engineering courses up to the end of second year level. Five new programmes have been added, and other sections modified. Using a distinctive programmed learning format, it allows the student to work at their own pace, and assess their progress through the use of carefully constructed questions and graded practical problems.
