"Amenity Horticulture" is designed for all new entrants to the industry and for students and trainees who are studying amenity courses at craft level. The book is illustrated with diagrams and photographs and emphazises the practical approach. It covers a range of amenity sector courses and integrates theory and science with practice. Topics covered include - current legislation on health and safety, ornamental and decorative horticulture, recreational horticulture, aboriculture, design and plant production and propagation. The book will be a text for students on courses from "skills testing" up to and including advanced National Certificate level in amenity horticulture and associated specialist options.
