Oral Healthcare in Pregnancy and Infancy

The two principal oral diseases are tooth decay and gum disease. With appropriate knowledge and support from health care workers the pregnant or new mother can look after both herself and her new baby and ensure that tooth decay and gum disease are prevented. This book aims to give those who look after pregnant mothers and pre-school children the knowledge to give informed advice about the prevention and treatment of oral disease in pregnancy and infancy.
