The Statesman’s Year-Book World Gazetteer

The fully revised fourth edition of The Statesman's Yearbook World Gazetteer is a valuable companion to The Stateman's Yearbook and an extremely useful publication in its own right, containing over 400,000 words and over 8,000 entries. In addition, there is a section giving precise definitions of over 700 geographical terms. The Gazetteer runs from Aabenraa in Denmark to Zwolle in the Netherlands and provides details of every place which is of world importance because of its size, history, or economic activity.
