The publication presents the results of three large-scale questionnaire-based studies. Full-time Masaryk University students most often consume alcohol, tobacco, black coffee, cannabinoids, to a lesser extent hallucinogens, suppressive drugs and ecstasy. On the campus, the dealers' activity was recorded. Common activities are computer, internet, and mobile phones. The prevalence of lifetime experience with gaming machines was 30%, with computer games 80%, and more than 40% with betting. More than one fifth of the sample was approached by the prevention of addiction workers, especially at the pedagogical and medical faculties. Out of the faculty activities were sparse. The prevention framework is characterized especially by monologue lectures dealing mainly with the issues of alcoholism and tobacco using. There is a lack of continuity and systematic nature.
