Lighting guide 4 : sports lighting

This guide is concerned with the lighting of sports areas and other playing and recreational areas.Specific recommendations for individual sports are given in section 3 of the guide. The requirements of large multi-purpose venues and specific provision for television broadcasting are provided in sections 4–7.The general information and lighting levels provided in the guide are aligned to the requirements of the British and European standard BSEN 12193: 1999.
