
A new book in the series is about famous town Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo) near St. Petersburg. Tsarskoe Selo, one of the residences of the Imperial Russian family was built in 1717-1723, and then improved by the daughter of Peter the Great Empress Elizavetta Petrovna. Many famous architects worked in this place and left a grand park and palace ensemble. The glory and new name of the town is related to the Lyceum of Tsarskoe Selo and of its most famous student: Aleksandr Pushkin (1811-1817). This book is a guide to the literary history of this town which was continued by several writers and poets of the soviet period, including Anna Akhmatova, Nikolai Gumilev, Nikolai Nedobrovo, etc.
