Carla De Pascale is Full Professor of History of Philosophy (1999) since 2001 at the University of Bologna. Her research focuses on history of philosophy and politic philosophy of the 18th and 19th century mainly in Germany. Erich H. Fuchs widmete sein ganzes Arbeitsleben der Erforschung des Werks und der Person J. G. Fichtes im Zusammenhang mit den geistigen Strömungen seiner Zeit. Er war ab 1973 Mitarbeiter und ab 1996 einer der Hauptherausgeber der J. G. Fichte-Gesamtausgabe der Bayerischen Akademie der Wissenschaften.
Marco Ivaldo is full professor of Moral philosophy and of Practical Philosophy at the University Federico II of Naples, Department of Humanities. Editor of "Fichte-Studien" (Leiden-New York).
He is been fellow by the Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung (Bonn) at the "Fichte-Kommission" of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences (Munich) in the period 1989-1991. His studies relate to the modern German philosophy (Leibniz, Humboldt, Jacobi, Kant, Fichte), with particular attention to the issues and prospects of systematic transcendental philosophy and of ethics and philosophy of religion.
