Sergei Rakhmaninov (1873-1943), the outstanding Russian musician and composer, emigrated in 1917, and settled in 1918 in the USA. This book is his new biography and about his role in world musical culture. The book is based on materials housed in several archives, including the Glinka Museum of Musical Culture (Moscow).
