Ape Language: From Conditioned Response to Symbol

Examines ape language using behavior and how they can be taught to develop similar skills to that of a two year old child. Looks at the behavioral changes that take place in apes as their language skills develop. Goes on to apply the research findings to human beings experiencing difficulties acquiring language.
