The second volume adds to the first explaining more complex verb patterns, comparison of adjectives, notions of time and dating, use of gerundive particles, adverbs and so forth, as well as introducing some idiomatic expressions, rhyming terms and Tibetan forms of address. Again exercises accompany the relevant sections.
