Editors Basterra, Bauer, Hess, and Johnson present students, academics, and researchers with a collection of academic articles and scholarly papers selected from research presented at the Women in Topology Workshop held in August of 2013 at the Banff International Research Station in Canada. The editors have organized the contributions that make up the main body of the text in seven chapters devoted to representations of derived A-infinity algebras, unbased calculus for funtors to chain complexes, and a wide variety of other related subjects. Maria Basterra is a faculty member of the University of New Hampshire. Kristine Bauer is a faculty member of the University of Calgary, Canada. Kathryn Hess is a faculty member of the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland. Brenda Johnson is a faculty member of Union College, New York.
