PISA 2000 technical report

The OECD Programme for International Student Assessment conducted its first survey of students' reading, mathematical, and scientific literacy in 32 countries in the year 2000. While not reporting on the results of the survey, this report discusses the technical aspects of the project in order to allow review and potential replication of the procedures. Separate sections address instrument design, operational procedures, data processing, quality indicators and outcomes, and scale construction and products.
