Corporate governance : a survey of OECD countries.

The recent collapse of major companies has focussed attention onto the regulation of corporate governance. One of the most widely adopted standards for financial systems is the OECD Principles of Corporate Governance. To ensure that the Principles continue to meet current circumstances they are being reviewed and this report is part of that process. It examines the need for reform, records how individual countries have dealt with changes and identifies emerging issues. Its three sections cover: policy concerns and driving forces; broad policy choices; a thematic review of developments and emerging issues.
