OECD's annual survey of the Portuguese economy. It opens with an examination of recent trends, including the forces accounting for Portugal's good unemployment record but relatively slow recovery. Macroeconomic and structural policies and analyzed in Part II. Part III deals with human capital and its role in econoic convergence. A summary and conclusions are presented in Part IV.
