OECD twice-annual analyis of economic trends and projections for its Member countries. This issue provides a general assessment of the economic situation, analyzing recent developments and prospects and looking at policy considerations in a medium-term perspective. Special topics covered include the structure and evolution of OECD countries' external assets and liabilities and emerging markets and the liberalization of capital movements. Less detailed assessments are provided for countries of Central and Eastern Europe and the Russian Federation, China and the Dynamic Asian Economies, and Central and South America.
