民国纪事本末（1911-1949）

Most works have ignored the embarrassing position of constitution in the government in power, which is also the direct reason of crisis. Aristotle or Machiavelli couldnt be that dull and paid no attention to even the shortest and the least important constitutional experiment. The aim of this book is to complete this blank of study, in the simplest and clearest way and in time order showing the evolvement of constitutional government. Detailed record only goes to relevant events. So contrary to most works, this book left out most military action but relate with constitutional struggles. Those struggles decided the fate of China and shaped the social structure of modern Asia, which are far more important than those anecdotes of historical figures.
