Tectonics and Geochemistry of the Northeastern Caribbean

The focus of this volume is the northeastern Caribbean, with primary emphasis on Puerto Rico and immediately adjacent areas. Contents include nine chapters, an introductory chapter on tectonic settings and stratigraphic correlations of the volcanic strata in Puerto Rico, five chapters deal with geochemical aspects of these and related igneous rocks. The second group of three chapters deals primarily with the tectonics and stratigraphy of Tertiary and younger sedimentary rocks on Puerto Rico and other adjacent areas. The volume concludes with a chapter on interpretation of seismic profiles in the Puerto Rico Trench.
