Though it is reactionary, we still can find quite a few valuable reference materials from Marxist analysis on the phenomena in Jin dynasty. Whats more, the genuine record of Jin dynasty and the works of Wang Ehe have been long lost, so it can be regarded as an important historical book for the research on the history of Jin dynasty. To honor Shi Maoxian, the stubborn landlord, for his fight against the Red Coat Army, the author unconsciously describes such as circumstances: Guo San, a commander of the Red Coat Army, dominated Mizhou and when he passed Shi Maoxians house by, the civilians welcomed him and respected him as the General. The folk rhymes in the Journal of the Five Elements popular in the Weizhou region in the year of Zhenyou vividly reflect the depression in the end of Jin. All of these will help us understand the hierarchy fight and the social reality of cruel exploitation and depression.
