Beginning Entity Framework Core 2.0: Database Access from .NET

Entity Framework is the preferred method for database access from C# and .NET applications. The framework is also used from ASP.NET, and helps eliminate much of the tedium of writing database access code to translate across the so-called "impedance mismatch" between relational databases and object-oriented software. Entity Framework simplifies the programmer's work by enabling direct manipulation of data within a database through domain-specific objects and methods.
