This is the first Russian monograph about one of the Fathers of the Eastern Church, the Orthodox Saint Gregory of Nazianzus, the Theologian, bishop of Constantinople (380). The book covers his life and his main works in dogmatic and mystical theology, as well as his literary portraits of his contemporaries. It was written by the Russian theologian Igumen Ilarion (Alfeev) as his doctoral thesis. Bibliography and information about the author.
