This book studies little known doctrines and realities in labor relations in the periods known as "military communism" and NEP. The author describes various forms of labor, its motivation, social and labor conflicts, and mechanism of their solution at state and private enterprises. One of the most interesting chapters is about the political education of workers by the Bolshevik government: political propaganda aimed to incite "class hatred" and a negative attitude towards political opponents. One of the examples of the provoked hatred against the party of right EsErs in 1922 is described in this monograph. The book is based on archival documents, many of them are studied for the first time. Name index.
