Through the settling and analysis of archaeology document and literature, this book proposes that the Han Chang'an City in the early and middle period of the Western Han Dynasty, was an eastward city, it changed to be southward in the later period. For the expedience of discussion of orientations, it reanalysises the decided imperial palace site of the Western Han Dynasty Chang'an City Changle Palace and Mingguang Palace, and presents new opinions.They have important learning value to the city axis based on them, the study of construction thought in different periods, recognizing the layout of Han Chang'an City from overall situation, recognizing the ancient capital design idea. After comprehensively collecting related archaeological materials, document literature and existing achievements, this book deeply analysises the east , middle, west, three sets of ritual architecture property in the Han Chang'an City southernsuburbs as the same time.
