About the Author


I have had a love of writing for as long as I can remember. This drew me into teaching Senior English for about fifteen years, during which time I wrote English texts and a Poetry Book (title: Tapestry) for Senior Students for John Wiley & Sons, Pty Ltd. I was then writing under my first married name of Michelle Williams. After completing a Bachelor's degree in Counselling in 2002 and a Diploma of Clinical Hypnosis in 2001, I eventually retired from teaching in 2014 and now work with clients in my own private practice. With a keenly spiritual approach to life, and a belief in the importance of finding our passions and joys, my writing focuses on helping people to overcome their anxieties, move forward from past hurts and explore the essence of their true self. I am not religious, but definitely have a spiritual orientation- a belief that as a soul, we each come to earth to grow and learn more about love, compassion and strength. I believe life has a purpose, no matter how difficult our challenges might seem, and I try to help people find the courage and strength to create a positive life.
