This volume of the series "Logical Analysis of Language" studies how the world is reflected in a language, its grammatical structure, lexical semantics, and various linguistic genres and styles, ordinary language and fiction. The current volume studies the concept of game playing: the game as a competition, fight, entertainment, training, etc. Some contributors analyze an associative field of concepts such as: fate, chance, luck, excitement, etc. The others focus on cultural aspects. Many of the works included are done on the gaming aspects of culture and the game as a form of life. Most articles reside on the borders of two and more disciplines: linguistics, logic, theory of culture, or philology. Bibliographical references.
