The soviet system is broken on the territory of the former USSR, but what about the sovietization of the Russian language? One example, D.S.P. (dlia sluzhebnogo pol'zovaniia) is still very often used. What else is left from it? The author calls to reexamine the mechanisms of the sovietization of the Russian language. The subject of this study is ideologemas and their behavior in the speech of the Russian speaking population in the 1990s. Contents: Soviet ideologema in post-soviet discourse; Ideologemas as parts of speech: From letter to quote; Foul layer of the ideological language. Of particular interest is the second chapter in which the author traces sovietisms in the languages of non-Russian peoples, in their alphabet, accent, antonyms, toponyms, ethnonyms, abbreviations, quotations, foul language, etc. Chronological index of literature, name and subject indices.
