As this brief overview has hopefully captured, the first volume in this series provides ample insight into and differing perspectives on the multi-faceted world of management consulting. This volume would not have been possible without their efforts. About the Author Anthony F. Buono, series editor, has a joint appointment as Professor of Management and Sociology at Bentley College. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Sociology from Boston College. His current research and consulting interests focus on organizational change and interorganizational alliances, with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, strategic partnerships and firm-stakeholder relations.
