Martin Luther, A Destiny mainly depicts the destiny curve of Luther. The curve, though inevitably simple, is tragic. To accurately determine the several important points of the curve and reflect Luthers decisions to slow his pace and break from his previous life under certain circumstances and pressure, the book focuses on a basic historical problem, namely the relation between the individual and the public, to make it clear, the relation between initiative of the individual and demand of the public.
