This book has carefully combed what happens before and after the publication of ""Doctor Zhivago"". Through two authors researches on official archives of the Soviet Union, memories of the parties and interviews with those future generations, this book gives a relatively complete description of this history. The author has also convinced CIA to provide them with dozens of documents of the ""Book"" program during the Cold War, so that readers can have a more authoritative understanding of CIAs level of participation.
