About the Author
Born in 1965, Katherine Marguerite was separated from her parents, during the turbulent 60s, for layered reasons. Suffering in a series of foster homes and an abusive decade long adoption, she suffered PTSD and all that this encompasses as she struggled to find her intrinsic self. Her healing began in her mid-20s and included and ebb and flow of trial and error. The ideas she found successful, were later validated by science as she learned about holistic wellness as a Lifestyle and Wellness consultant and later still, as an Addictions and Mental Health Worker. Katherine discovered her infamous father, Professor J.P Rushton and in another part of the world, her beloved mother. Katherine and her father enjoyed many close years and looked with interest at their genetic similarities. Katherine and her mother took their time, as her mother endured dialysis, and they mutually enjoyed bonding over the phone. Her mother passed away as she, Katherine and her young daughter planned a visit. They loved one another despite an inability to connect physically. Professor Rushton succumbed to three cancers, whilst living an otherwise very healthy lifestyle. Katherine thrives in her work at the Salvation Army and raising her 12 year old daughter alone. Katherine also attends Laurentian University online and is earning a Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work. Katherine loves to hike and teach, she enjoys lifting weights, her animals and travelling. Katherine looks to continue writing, speaking and enjoying her daughter and their Heavenly Father
