The biography of the Records of Grand Historian says that Qu Yuan expresses his ambition to save the country and assist the king for many times, and the king is angry for his ambition expression to demonstrate the fact that Qu Yuan does not avoid prohibitions in his words in public. Another biography says that after Qu Yuans death, Song Zhu, Tang Le and Jingcha are fond of Ci and expert in Fu who make effort to collect, collocate, preserve and spread the works of Qu Yuan by imitating the rhetoric and expression style of Qu Yuan, however, they do not provide advice for the government as directly as Qu Yuan, which displays the great social influence of Qu Yuan in Chu state. Besides, it is estimated that Qu Yuan Ci is possible to be passed to the generations to come through folk society.
