This book goes into details of the cause and effect of 1911 Revolution which was actually a game for three forces: imperial court, constitutionalists and revolutionary. So, there would be three results of the game: autocratic monarchy, constitutional monarchy and constitutional republic. The revolutionary party lead by Sun Yat-sen shed their blood and sacrificed theei lives, and finally overthrew autocratic monarchy; since then Chinese would never tolerate the existence of emperor. In this long-distance race lasting ten years, the imperial court failed, and the constitutional monarchy failed, only the revolutionary won the big victory.
