The book, compiled by LiHuishun and MaJunxia, discusses archaeological discovery and research since almost one hundred years ago in north-west frontier including northern Shanxi, Gansu, Ningxia, Qinghai, Xinjiang and west Inner Mongolia. It is divided into 3 parts,they are the Stone Age,the Bronze Age and the Iron Age,each of them focuses on some important archaeological discoveries accompanied different academic points of view and illustrations.
