逍遥游

This book is the second novel collection of Ban Yu after The Winter Swim, which collects seven short stories and novellas with different styles and time span of 30 years, including the sorehead novelist, the man raising ants, the sick girl, the lover pursuing Comet, the father gone in time, etc. They are trapped in heavy fog in the teetering light but they always try to dance clumsily. These stories contain people's pain and prints in the change of society, showcasing our real timidity, desire, confusion and struggle between splendor and dimness, hope and depression. The drowned longs to go back to the land to have a good breath while the lost is waiting for a clear night. The dark night will never be bottomless, because we will see the light of stars as long as we choose to look up.
