Product Description Sally Friday is a mess. Not only is she tortured by self-doubt, but she is also clumsy and has no fashion sense. However, these qualities are exactly what her boss is counting on when she sends her to spy on reclusive millionaire playboy, Roman Daniels. Sally, normally an office clerk for the gossip magazine, Normandy, interviews for the position as Roman s new secretary. His jealous PA, Antonia, immediately hires the girl, confident that her disheveled appearance will make her invisible to Roman s wandering eye. Reliably disaster-prone, Sally makes a memorable first impression, and Roman wonders if he will survive her employment. But there is something about Sally that Roman can t dismiss. Unlike every other woman, she is unswayed by his masculine good looks, and he keeps catching intriguing glimpses of her feminine potential. When Sally takes a midnight dip in his pool, Roman makes an eye-popping discovery: Sally is hiding a luscious hour-glass figure beneath those baggy clothes. Her hidden assets as well as her refreshing innocence have Roman hooked. That is, until his growing feelings and fear of commitment get in the way and he decides to back off. With the help of Roman s best friend Paul, Sally plays to Roman s jealousy and gives him a taste of his own medicine. But what will Roman do when Sally's deceit is revealed? Review PROMISES: 5 Stars: "Some of the hottest sex scenes I have ever read in a book. I mean really, they are out of this world! There is never a dull moment between Alex and Solomon. Either they are screwing each other senseless, or close to throttling each other out of anger. The passion is all consuming, making this book a page turner! This book will not disappoint fans of erotic romance!" --April Wood, A Well Read Woman Blog
"Are you looking for a little light summer reading? Then look no further than His Girl Friday by Ellen March." --My Secret Bookspot"Oh my! This story is funny, caring, crazy, dangerous at times, romantic and a true love story . This is one awesome cluster of emotions of a book and I loved it!" --Goodreads"I loved Sally's quick wit from the start and the fact that she was clumsy and didn't particularly care what other people thought of her outward appearance . If you're looking for an enjoyable and easy read, this is the book for you." --Goodreads""I really enjoyed PROMISES, by Ellen March. Although both main characters had explosive personalities, and got angry quickly, they were also funny and well written into the story line. Ellen March is a new author for me. I really enjoyed her writing style and the quirkiness of her characters. Ellen March is certainly an author whom I will be checking out other titles from."Sherri M., Fresh Fiction, Posted June 24, 2014 --Sherri M., Fresh FictionDo you like a story about an ugly duckling who turns into a beautiful swan? If you're answer is yes then this book is for you.His Girl Friday is a delightful read. It's funny, romantic, dramatic and very very enjoyable. Moving at a great pace you will have it finished in no time, and it will leave you with a smile on your face. This book is well written, displays great emotion has good character development and has a line-up of very likeable characters.Sally our main protagonist and the story point of view is our ugly duckling. She is very awkward and clumsy and at times you feel embarrassed for her if you're not laughing at her antics. Her self esteem is low, but you can see the strength in her that develops nicely as the story moves along, thanks to the help of Paul, Roman's best friend. Roman is our mega rich playboy, and it took me a little while to warm up to him. His temper is right on the surface a lot especially with Sally and his outbursts are at times amusing. As the story moves on his temper fades, thanks to a reality check and this is when I liked him the most. Then we have Paul, Roman's gay best friend, he's fantastic from the first moment. H
