About the Author
Alexander Barkovich is Head of the Department of Informatics and Applied Linguistics at Minsk State Linguistic University, Belarus, and Professor at the Chair of Applied Linguistics at the Belarusian State University. His research is focused on linguistic aspects of communication, information and social networks. He is the author of two textbooks, two monographs and more than 100 scientific publications. He received his PhD in Philology from the Belarusian State University and his MA in Law from the Academy of Public Administration, Belarus. He defended his habilitational thesis in Theory of Language in 2016.
