About the Author

Chef Bari is retired from the hospitality industry but is active through his facebook page : Canadian Recipes of the Great White North. In addition he writes recipes and bakes along with his Christmas Cookbook - also on facebook.

Chef Bari has over 35 years working with finer hotels, restaurants and private clubs throughout British Columbia and Alberta. He has met and looked after functions with celebrities, such as Wayne Gretzky, Brook Shields, Kenny Rogers, Ronny Lancaster and Premiers of Alberta.
Has been standing member of the CFCC for 12 years, along with being in charge as Membership Director for a 2 year term.

After the passing of his daughter Jenni Michelle Demers, he was determined to provide a cookbook for kids along with Adults featuring fun interactive illustrations by Diane Lucas. Canadian Recipes of the Great White North is for the whole family with an Outdoor Theme featuring 2 selections of recipes for everyday cooking to outdoor adventurous cooking techniques.
